Moving to more ‘circular’ practices helps businesses to drive down operational costs, reduce waste and take meaningful action on climate change.
Five businesses in the Edwardstown Precinct recently completed the City of Marion Circular Economy Program. This program upskilled participants in ‘circular’ practices and provided them with action plans to:
· Reduce their landfill volumes
· Transition to more sustainable packaging
· Work with their suppliers and customers to find more sustainable goods
· and services
· Lower their climate emissions
· Demonstrate leadership to their customers and the community
