Winter Comfort at Home [Online]

This year is a great time to take steps towards making your home and lifestyle more sustainable, yet it can be tricky to find trusted independent advice. To help, 20 councils in and near Adelaide are bringing residents a series of online events from the sustainability and energy experts at Renew, who have been providing independent advice for over 40 years.

In this session we will be exploring ways to improve the comfort and energy efficiency of your home, and explain which steps to take first to save money and stay warmer this winter. We will unpack energy saving measures like draught proofing, insulation, heating, hot water and double glazing, and help you discover ways to take control of your bills, with tips on reading your bill and understanding your energy usage.

This session is relevant if you own your own home. There is an earlier session held on May 16 for rental properties. The event will run for 90 minutes from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, ending with 30 minutes of question time. This online event is presented by Renew on behalf of AdaptWest, Resilient East, Resilient South, and Resilient Hills and Coasts. These Regional Climate Partnerships represent 20 local governments across Adelaide and surrounding regions.
